Established in 2009, Swami Vivekananda Institute of Modern Science, SVIMS, Kolkata, is a non-profit organization (Swami Vivekananda Institute of Science and Technology). In addition, all users have access to the library's OPAC, internet, Reprographics, and CD-ROM. The institution has separate hostels with well-furnished rooms for boys and girls, each with all modern amenities for boarding and other recreational activities.
